Hainan International College of Beijing Sport University is currently seeking 3 experienced and highly motivated English language instructors to teach English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and IELTS preparation courses for undergraduate students.

About Us

The Alberta International School of Recreation, Sport and Tourism of Beijing Sport University, affiliated with Hainan International College of Beijing Sport University, was established in June 2022. Officially approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the institution was jointly founded by Beijing Sport University and the University of Alberta, Canada, as a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution. It is China’s first Sino-foreign cooperative higher education institution in the field of sport operating as a non-independent legal entity. The school is located in the Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone in Hainan Province, China.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop curriculum plans, learning materials, and assessment schemes tailored to students’ individual needs. Offer EAP and IELTS preparation courses for undergraduates (10-16 regular teaching hours per week or as arranged according to the  college’s course requirements).

2. Assess students’ assignments, provide regular feedback, and maintain accurate records of students’ progress.

3. Organize and participate in extracurricular English learning activities for students. Hold regular office hours (minimum 8 hours per week) to provide academic support and individual tutorials for students as needed.

4. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities to support continuous improvement in teaching practice.

5. Other post-related responsibilities.

Requirements:

1. Applicants must have no criminal record and comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China.

2. Applicants should be citizens of recognized English-speaking countries (e.g. the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and so on) and possess native-level English proficiency.

3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Linguistics, or related fields. Applicants who completed their undergraduate education in an English-speaking country are also encouraged to apply, regardless of academic major.

4. TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent teaching qualifications are required.

5. Minimum of 2 years of university teaching experience (experience in teaching EAP or IELTS preferred). Outstanding candidates with strong teaching qualifications may be considered even if they do not fully meet the experience requirement.

6. Familiarity with the latest teaching methods and technologies.

北京体育大学海南国际学院拟招聘3名经验丰富的英语外籍教师加入我们的团队，为本科生教授学术英语和雅思。

一、学院简介：

阿尔伯塔国际休闲体育与旅游学院隶属北京体育大学海南国际学院，成立于2022年6月，是经中华人民共和国教育部发文批准，由北京体育大学与加拿大阿尔伯塔大学联合申报的中外合作办学机构，是中国首个体育类非独立法人中外合作办学机构，办学地点位于海南省陵水黎安国际教育创新试验区。

二、岗位职责：

1.制定符合学生个性化需求的课程计划、学习材料和评估方案。开设学术英语课程和雅思考试辅导（每周10-16个常规课时，或根据学院课程需求安排）。

2.检查学生的作业并定期向学生提供反馈，准确记录学生的学习进度。

3.组织指导学生的英语学习活动，为学生提供每周不少于8 小时的英语课外辅导。

4.参加部门会议和职业发展活动，提高教学技能和知识水平。

5.其他岗位相关职责。

三、岗位要求：

1.无犯罪记录。遵守中华人民共和国法律法规。

2.来自公认英语国家（美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等）的精通英语母语者。

3.教育、英语、语言学或相关领域的学士或更高学位。在英语国家接受本科教育的应聘者，专业可不作限制。

4.取得TESOL/TEFL/CELTA/DELTA 认证或同等教学资格。

5.至少 2 年的大学教学经验（有EAP或雅思教学经验者优先）。特别优秀者且满足上述第4条教学资格的应聘者，可放宽教学经验相关条件。

6.熟悉最新的教学法和教学技术。
